A wonderful, intellectual and deeply mystical dancer Padmaja Suresh from Bangalore, India, will perform in Riga for the first time on the 12th of September. Her dance performances have gained high recognition from critics all over the world.
The performance by Padmaja Suresh (Bangalore, India), the renowned classical dance exponent, researcher and choreographer, will take place in Riga Small theatre at 19.00 on the 12th of September. She will present to the local audience a classical Bharata Natyam dance performance NATYOLLASAH, ‘The Joy of Dance’ that emerges from the divine grace. The performance will include traditional and thematic items of classical temple repertoire. The beauty and power of Indian dance lies within the interpretation of ancient hymns, epic and mythological storylines, by means of stylised gesture language and skills of artistic expression. Images of ancient Vedic gods and goddesses will come to life, and incredible depth of Indian mythology, music and poetry will unfold in front of the audience.
