ESTAS TONNE with Pepe Danza and Nethanel Goldberg
REVIVING THE WATER
Purification of the ocean begins with a single drop
You can write about water endlessly. The ancient cultures and rituals are addressing water as one of the most important elements and the fundamental principles of life. In recent decades, scientific discoveries reveal the living nature of water and its relationship with the cosmos. Each of us has our own perception of water, based on our knowledge and intuition. There-fore, we would like to stick to our slogan without any comments, encouraging you to close your eyes and follow the sound. It will take you to the place where ocean purification begins from a single drop.
ESTAS TONNE – a bright musician that strips away all the laws of show business with his enormous expressive power. Music for him is not a goal, yet just a liberating tool evoking endless potential of a human to cognize oneself and the world outside.By traveling to countless countries and places Estas Tonne finds himself in several cultural references without identifying himself with a single nation or country, rather with the cultural richness of the world. His music is therefore a reflection of many approaches. A variety of styles flowing into each other almost unnoticed and showing up as surprises in a harmonious structure of sound, reaching out differently in each performance, yet always in unique form and melody.Sinking deeper through our perception, this emotional splendor may turn out to be the beginning of a powerful awakening to a different understanding of the world and the true Self.
Joseph “PEPE” Danza – is an absolutely unique and new phenomenon in the contemporary generation of musicians. He started his musical journey at the early age of eight studying guitar. After years of wandering the planet, studying, performing and practicing different traditional music and instruments (sitar and bansuri in India, Brazilian percussion, African djembe, guitar in south America and Spain, drums, flutes etc.), he landed in Japan, where he lived for three years dedicated to the study of shakuhachi (endblown flute). His has collection of more than three hundred instruments from around the world, as well as a few unique and quite special instruments, crafted specifically for Pepe. He has a wide cross-cultural versatility and has been called “the embodiment of World Music” and “The Extreme multiinstrumentalist”. “I live from the deep conviction and experience of the fact that music is a powerful transformative force, and that humanity and our dear planet earth are ready for a shift to a higher frequency. I believe music plays a major role in that shift, and I am here to serve that work, in whatever way, whichever place I am called.”
NETANEL GOLDBERG – art of voice, a remarkable Israeli musician whose voice is pure art, which travels most mystical and ineffable places. 'Melody is as water dripping on stone – slowly opening the gates of the heart.'
The Worlds of Estas Tonne, Pepe Danza and Netanel Goldberg will come together and connect on the stage of the Riga Congress Hall, on October 11 and you are welcome to become a part of this unique event.
